Letter C

Capital "C" we decorated to look like a chocolate chip cookie.
The lower case "c" is covered in cotton balls.
We also read a book and wrote down all the words that started with the letter "c."

Race Track

This was a favorite toilet paper roll creation--a race track, with two tunnels for cars to race down.

Letter B

Capital "B" we decorated to look like a bee. He put the stripes on himself. :)
For the lower case "b," we went through the crayons and found the colors that start with "b." He colored it blue, brown, and black.
We also read a book and wrote down all the words that started with the letter "b."

Peter and the Wolf

After we got a book with CD from the library of Peter and the Wolf, and also watched the cartoon on YouTube (you can see it here and here), my son informed me one day that we were going to make a wolf out of toilet paper rolls.

So this is what I came up with:

Pretty scary looking. :) He wanted a hole behind the nose, too, so he could look through.

Then we had to make the rest of the characters. We made Peter:

Grandpa:

"Sonia" the duck:

"Sasha" the bird:

"Ivan" the cat:

Letter A

My son and I did an informal home school preschool learning all the letters of the alphabet. I started posting a few of these letters that we did on my other blog before, but I wanted to post them all here, now that we are done with them.

Capital "A" we decorated with fingerprint ants.
The lower case "a" is covered with apples that he colored and pasted on.
We also read a book and wrote down all the words that started with the letter "a."

I also made him a book out of pictures we took of things that started with each letter of the alphabet. This is the letter "A" page.
